A leading cold storage and refrigeration company is looking for an experienced Junior Refrigerator Assistant with strong experience in ammonia systems to join their team in City Deep, Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have practical exposure to refrigeration operations and hold a valid CAT A license.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the operation and maintenance of refrigeration systems.

• Monitor and support ammonia-based refrigeration processes.

• Ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards.

• Perform routine checks and assist senior staff with technical tasks.

• Support the team with troubleshooting and reporting of issues.

Requirements:

• Valid CAT A license.

• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.

• Knowledge of refrigeration operations and safety protocols.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
