An exciting opportunity has opened up for a skilled Electrical Designer to join a dynamic and growing engineering team based in Johannesburg. If you’re passionate about designing world-class MCCs, PLC panels, and control systems, and want to work on innovative, high-impact projects—this one’s for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed electrical schematics and layouts for MCCs, PLC panels, DBs, and Control Panels using Eplan Electric P8 and AutoCAD.

• Select and specify appropriate electrical components based on technical, safety, and cost requirements.

• Ensure full compliance with relevant electrical standards and regulations.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and workshop teams to deliver high-quality designs.

• Troubleshoot and resolve design-related technical challenges independently and within a team.

Requirements:

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in electrical design within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering or a National Diploma.

• Proficient in Eplan Electric P8 and AutoCAD (essential).

• Strong understanding of panel design, component selection, and control systems.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
