Our client is looking for a Millwright to join their team in Germiston. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing high-speed manufacturing equipment within a plastics packaging environment. This role requires in-depth experience with machinery such as Husky, Sidel, Nissei, injection and blow moulding machines, and compressors.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on manufacturing machinery

• Ensure optimal performance of injection and blow moulding machines

• Conduct scheduled and preventative maintenance

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical breakdowns

• Maintain and improve equipment reliability and safety

• Accurately complete maintenance records and reports

Requirements:

• Trade Test as a Millwright (essential)

• Solid experience in a plastics packaging or related manufacturing environment

• Hands-on knowledge of Husky, Sidel, Nissei, compressors, and injection/blow moulding machinery

• Ability to work independently and under pressure

• Willingness to work overtime as required (not guaranteed)
