Hire Resolves client is seeking a hands-on, tech-savvy Storage Facilities Manager to oversee both the physical and digital operations of our storage facilities. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, customer-focused, and confident managing administration and bookkeeping responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
- Manage all bookings, move-ins, and move-outs via the online system
- Conduct regular on-site inspections and ensure the property is well-maintained.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, pest control, and cleaning services.
- Monitor and manage access control systems, CCTV, and security protocols.
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Assist clients with online bookings and digital lease agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of customer information, contracts, and access history.
- Resolve customer issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Process payments, issue invoices and receipts, and manage overdue accounts.
- Reconcile transactions and maintain up-to-date financial records using bookkeeping software (Xero).
- Generate and submit regular reports on occupancy, revenue, and operational costs.
- Assist with budget planning and expense tracking.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in property, facility, or storage management.
- Strong administrative and bookkeeping skills.
- Comfortable using digital platforms and cloud-based systems.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage responsibilities.
- Physically capable of conducting site inspections and basic facility tasks.
- Certificate or diploma in Business Administration and/or Property Management.
- Familiarity with self-storage or online property management platforms.
- Experience with customer service and financial reporting.
