We are assisting a leading company in the manufacturing and imports sector in seeking a Maintenance Manager. This role is perfect for a proactive and technically strong individual who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is passionate about ensuring operational efficiency through effective maintenance management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the maintenance department

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimise downtime

• Coordinate repairs and maintenance of production equipment, machinery, and facilities

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and artisans

• Maintain records of maintenance schedules, incidents, and repair histories

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support operational goals

• Manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective procurement of parts and services

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance function

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and ensure minimal disruption to production

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a maintenance Leadership, preferably within a manufacturing environment

• Proven ability to lead a technical team and manage maintenance schedules effectively

• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems

• Hands-on, solutions-driven mindset with excellent problem-solving skills

• Trade Tested and relevant tertiary education advantageous
