An established investment management group is seeking a Corporate Finance Associate to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in corporate finance and will gain hands-on experience across Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Raising, Due Diligence, Valuations, and Financial Modelling. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects and support the growth and value creation of both the firm and its clients.

Responsiblities

  • Conduct financial analysis across strategic projects.

  • Build or review complex and detailed financial models.

  • Perform execution and/or project management roles for various projects.

  • Collaborate closely with other team members.

  • Build and foster strong client relationships.

  • Demonstrate strong financial modelling skills, including completing a financial modelling case study, as financial modelling underpins all workstreams in this practice.


Requirements

  • CA (SA) with 1–5 years post-articles experience.

  • Proven corporate finance experience.

  • Strong financial modelling skills.

  • Strong understanding of corporate finance principles.

  • Solid knowledge of IFRS.

  • Professional, ethical, and analytical mindset.

  • Problem-solving oriented with attention to detail.

  • Effective communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Highly numerate, resilient, and flexible.

  • Energetic, self-starter, and hardworking.
