Our client is looking for a Production Administrator to join their team in Kempton Park. The company is a well-established manufacturer of welded steel tubing and piping, supplying various sectors including mining, construction, automotive, and renewable energy. This role is ideal for someone who is highly accurate, process-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. The successful candidate will focus on capturing production data, monitoring daily outputs, and generating reports using Excel.
Responsibilities:
Capture and record daily production orders and performance metrics
Track and report on manufacturing progress in alignment with quality standards
Compile and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly production reports
Use Excel to organize, analyze, and validate production data
Support the production and planning departments with accurate administrative input
Maintain data integrity across internal systems and logs
Requirements:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data validation)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume, repetitive tasks
Ability to stay focused and motivated in a structured, task-oriented environment
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Previous experience in an administrative or production support role within a manufacturing environment (especially in steel or industrial materials) will be advantageous
