Job Title: HRD Superintendent - Mining - Limpopo

Location: Limpopo, South Africa

Job Type: Full-time

Overview: Hire Resolve's Client are seeking an experienced and qualified HRD Superintendent to join their mining operation in Limpopo. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive Human Resources Development (HRD) program to support the growth and success of our mining operation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic HRD plan that aligns with the overall business objectives of the mining operation.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify skills gaps and training opportunities within the workforce.
  • Design and deliver training programs to develop the skills and competencies of employees across all levels of the organization.
  • Coordinate and manage apprenticeship and skills development programs to support the recruitment and retention of a skilled workforce.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to ensure that they are meeting the needs of the business and driving performance improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to line managers on HRD matters, including performance management, career development, and succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and industry best practices in all HRD activities.
  • Manage the HRD budget and resources effectively to maximize the return on investment for training initiatives.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • A Valid Trade Certificate or Mine Overseer's Certificate will be advantageous
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources Development within the mining industry.
  • Experience in designing and implementing training programs, apprenticeship schemes, and skills development initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of South African labor laws, regulations, and HR practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
