Description:
Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Project Metallurgist (Plant) to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape. You will be responsible for leading metallurgical projects and improvement initiatives to optimise processing performance, product quality and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and manage metallurgical projects to improve processing performance and product quality.
• Support operational development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage contractors and technical service providers to ensure effective project execution.
• Monitor project budgets and costs to ensure efficient resource utilisation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, risk and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree (BTech or BSc) in Metallurgy
• 6 years' experience in Mineral Processing with 2 years' supervisory experience within the mining industry (plant)
• 2 years' Project Management experience as a supervisor/team lead. 
• Experience with JD Edwards, SCADA, QlikView, Isometrix and Achiever or equivalent systems
• Valid Driver's License
