Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repairs: Perform high-level mechanical and electrical maintenance on specialized tissue-making and converting machinery.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve equipment failures quickly to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.

• Installations: Assist with the installation, commissioning, and testing of new plant equipment.

• Preventative Actions: Execute planned maintenance schedules and identify potential mechanical risks before they lead to failure.

• Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in strict accordance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Qualified Millwright: Trade Test Certificate (Section 13 or 26D).

• Industry Experience: Proven experience within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment (experience in tissue or paper mills is highly advantageous).

• Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic PLC fault-finding.

• Work Ethic: Ability to work shifts, handle call-outs, and perform well under pressure during breakdowns.
