Our client is looking for a Maintenance Administrator to join their team in Maitland, Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a plumbing company and be capable of handling both maintenance coordination and creditors-related responsibilities. This position supports a growing maintenance division and requires someone who can manage both administrative and operational tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling of maintenance projects
Ordering materials required for maintenance work
Supervising maintenance plumber(s)
Implementing and managing maintenance systems
Invoicing and collecting payments from maintenance clients
Preparing and compiling quotations
Liaising with clients and suppliers
Managing warranty schedules
Sourcing new clients for maintenance services
Preparing and compiling handover manuals
Processing creditor invoices and reconciling accounts
Archiving and filing of documentation
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience working in a plumbing company (essential)
Strong knowledge of maintenance scheduling and coordination
Ability to manage and supervise field staff (e.g. plumbers)
Familiarity with invoicing, debtors’ collections, and quotation processes
Experience with creditors processing and account reconciliations
Excellent organisational and filing skills
Confident liaising with clients and suppliers
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a small team environment
Proficiency in maintenance systems or job management software (advantageous)
