A leading manufacturing company in Worcester is seeking a hands-on Production Superintendent to oversee operations, including warehouse and bagging processes.
This role is ideal for a results-driven leader with manufacturing expertise who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and report on production output (tons per hour, tons delivered, bags packed, stock counts, quality).
• Plan and manage production schedules, downtime, and maintenance.
• Lead, coach, and manage Production Supervisors and Warehouse teams to meet KPIs.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and operational fault-finding.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9000/22000/14000/18000 standards.
• Manage employee relations and enforce policies in a unionised environment.
Requirements
• 5–10 years’ experience in manufacturing at supervisory or middle management level.
• National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Ability to operate as GMR2.
• Strong leadership and management skills; experience in a unionised environment preferred.
• Proficient in MS Suite, OnKey, SAP.
• Manufacturing process fault-finding expertise.
• PLC/SCADA development/maintenance experience is an advantage.
