Description:
Hire Resolve's client, a reputable mining company based in the Northern Cape, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join their team. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the maintenance activities of the mechanical department in the mining operations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the maintenance activities of the mechanical department.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Plan and schedule preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Oversee equipment inspections and troubleshooting.
• Manage and control maintenance budgets.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the mechanical team.
  

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Engineering Technical Trade Certificate in Boilermaking or Fitting
• N3 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a mining or plant maintenance environment
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
• Valid Drivers License
