• Relevant 4-year tertiary qualification.

• Surface Blasting Certificate for Coal Mines.

• Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency or equivalent internal law examination.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in opencast coal mining at Production Superintendent level.
