A well-established and growing company in the building and coatings industry specializing in high-quality painting, waterproofing, and roofing solutions, is currently seeking a Site Manager to join their dynamic team.

This role is ideal for a hands-on individual with experience in the construction or building sector, particularly in painting, waterproofing, and roofing. The company is open to developing candidates who show strong potential and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily and weekly planning to ensure efficient site operations

  • Ensure correct and effective application of raw materials

  • Maintain high-quality workmanship and enforce company standards

  • Oversee site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all safety regulations (OHASA)

  • Monitor and manage team performance, including quality control and discipline where necessary

  • Conduct site inspections, final walk-throughs, and ensure top-class delivery

  • Manage stock usage, minimize waste, and control losses

  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of tools and equipment

  • Maintain accurate administrative records such as job cards and attendance registers

  • Communicate effectively with team members and management

  • Report delays, risks, and safety concerns promptly

  • Lead and motivate the team while maintaining professionalism and punctuality


Requirements

  • Minimum qualification: Grade 12, N3, or equivalent

  • Experience in the building industry (painting, waterproofing, and roofing preferred)

  • Strong understanding of site management and safety practices

  • Knowledge of OHASA regulations and compliance requirements

  • Good planning, time management, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage teams and resolve conflict professionally

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities

  • Willingness to learn and undergo training if required

  • Physically fit and able to work on-site environments

  • Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
