Description:
Hire Resolve's client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mine Manager to join their mining team and oversee operations in the beautiful province of Mpumalanga. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of mining operations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and driving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the mining operations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Develop and implement strategic mining plans to achieve production and financial targets.
• Oversee workforce management, including training, development, and performance management.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure operational efficiency and safety standards.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and operational reports.
• Establish and maintain communication with stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and local communities.
• Identify and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree in Mining Engineering.
• Mine Managers' Certificate of Competency.
• Management Development Programme or equivalent.
• 8-10 years' experience in the coal mining industry.
• Opencast and Underground Coal Mine Planning, Layout Design, and Scheduling
