Hire Resolve’s Client is looking for a Strata Control Officer to be based at a coal mine in Mpumalanga!

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess rock mass conditions to identify and mitigate ground-related hazards
• Implement, monitor, and audit strata control measures
• Conduct regular workplace and geotechnical inspections
• Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, safety standards, and organizational best practices
• Adhere to and enforce site safety rules and regulations

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree / National Diploma in Mining Engineering or 2 papers of COMREC and Mine Overseer’s Certificate
• Chamber of Mines Strata Control Certificate for Coal Mines
• 2 years’ experience in a Mining environment
• Valid Driver’s License
