Internal Sales Assistant


We are seeking a highly motivated Internal Sales Assistant to assist Justine on the internal sales side. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in internal sales, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to handle client relationships, inquiries, and sales processes effectively. This role offers the opportunity to grow in a fast-paced, supportive environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Support: Assist with order processing, client inquiries, and general sales administration.

  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing timely and accurate solutions.

  • Quotation Preparation: Prepare and follow up on sales quotations.

  • Order Management: Process orders, track progress, and coordinate deliveries with logistics teams.

  • CRM Maintenance: Update and manage CRM systems with accurate records.

  • Product Knowledge: Develop expertise in company products to provide informed client advice.

  • Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products.

  • Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints or inquiries professionally and effectively.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in internal sales, preferably in a B2B environment.

  • Education: Diploma or certification in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration (preferred).

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills for quotations and reporting.

    • Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.

    • Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Teams (preferred).

  • Sales Acumen: Understanding of basic sales and financial principles (GP, Margin, Sales, Cost of Sales, etc.).

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication with strong negotiation skills.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management, multitasking, and attention to detail.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Team-oriented with a customer-focused approach.

  • Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to issues.

  • Knowledge of the Data Centre or Construction industry is beneficial.

  • Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.

  • Self-motivated and proactive in achieving targets.
