Description:
Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Mine Planning and Mineral Resource Manager to join their mining company based in Gauteng. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership and strategic oversight of resource management and planning to support sustainable, compliant and optimised long-term operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and evaluate resource management and mine planning strategies to support long-term operational objectives.
• Conduct scenario planning, life-of-mine evaluations and high-level financial assessments to optimise resource extraction.
• Provide technical oversight and assurance on resource data, planning processes and related technical disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal and governance requirements related to resource management and planning.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to align technical planning with operational and strategic goals.
• Monitor risks, support system improvements and drive continuous optimisation of planning and reporting processes.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree or Diploma in Mineral Resources or equivalent
• 10 years' experience within the mining industry
• 5 years' management experience
• Valid Driver's License
