We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Toolmaker with experience in thin-wall plastic injection moulding.

The ideal candidate will be an all-rounder, able to diagnose root causes, fault-find, and perform repairs, modifications, and maintenance on moulds and machines using both CNC milling and conventional machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mould maintenance, repairs, and modifications (planned and breakdown)
• Ensure moulds run correctly on machines and products meet quality standards
• Organize tools, cutters, and materials for conventional and CNC machines
• Operate conventional lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, spark eroders, drill presses, bench grinders, and related equipment
• Conduct root cause analysis on product quality or performance issues
• Liaise with quality and production teams on issues and improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain the toolroom mandate
• Train and mentor junior staff as required
• Maintain cleanliness and routine servicing of machines

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar toolmaker role
• Expertise in thin-wall plastic injection moulding
• Skilled in CNC milling and conventional machine operations
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and planning abilities
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
