BCom in Accounting or a relevant finance-related qualification.

CA or CIMA certification would be an advantage.

Demonstrated experience in a senior commercial or financial analysis and management role, preferably within a large mining or heavy industry environment.

Proven ability to analyse and benchmark financial and business data in mining or related sectors.

Familiarity with emerging technologies and their operational impact relevant to the role.

Understanding and practical application of project management principles.

Strong grasp of commercial and business performance drivers, including analysis of variability and root causes to inform decision-making.

Experience with investment valuation methodologies and interpreting related findings.

Skilled in applying risk management strategies and critical control measures.

Successful track record of managing large and complex projects using project management methodologies, with a focus on embedding changes into operational processes.
