Group Finance Manager CA| Port Elizabeth

Hire Resolve is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Group Finance Manager to lead the financial function for a diverse group of over 15 companies. This office-based role in Port Elizabeth requires a strong leader who can drive reporting excellence and maintain the highest standards of financial integrity across a complex corporate structure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring high performance, accountability, and professional development.

• Consolidated Reporting: Take full ownership of the monthly reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across multiple divisions.

• Audit Management: Act as the primary lead for external audits, managing the process end-to-end and reviewing all supporting documentation.

• Banking & Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for financial institutions, including the sign-off of financial documentation and management reports.

• Process Optimization: Drive the continuous improvement of financial processes and internal controls in collaboration with the Financial Controller.

• Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy of core financial data, asset registers, and underlying accounting records for the entire group.

Requirements:

• Qualification: CA(SA) non-negotiable.

• Experience: Minimum 8+ years in a Finance Manager or similar senior role.

• Group Oversight: Proven track record of managing finance functions across a large group (15+ entities) with complex consolidated reporting.

• Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel skills are essential.

• Systems: Experience with modern online accounting and ERP systems (e.g., Xero, Zoho Books, Sage Intacct).

• Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Port Elizabeth (Onsite/Office-based).
