Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a skilled Process Safety Engineer to join their team at a Chemical Manufacturing Company in KZN. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of process safety standards and procedures to prevent incidents and ensure compliance with regulations in a chemical manufacturing environment.

- Develop and implement process safety procedures, guidelines, and best practices.
- Conduct process safety assessments, audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks.
- Provide technical expertise and support for process safety-related projects and initiatives.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and patterns related to process safety performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process safety improvements and enhancements.
- Conduct training and workshops for employees on process safety practices and procedures.
- Participate in incident investigations and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Stay current on industry trends and regulations related to process safety in the chemical manufacturing sector.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process safety engineering in a chemical manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of process safety management systems
- Familiarity with risk assessment tools and techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams
