Description:
Hire Resolve's client is currently looking for a skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join their mining team in Gauteng. As a Process Engineer in the mining industry, you will be responsible for optimizing the production processes, and ensuring efficient and safe operations.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and throughput.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement process improvements.
• Optimize plant usage to reduce metal losses by supporting the Smelter Process Leader and Senior Process Engineer with enhancements and suggestions.
• Carry out technical analysis of processes.
• Initiate process improvement assessments at the start of projects.
• Organize and aid in audit tasks for both the Primary and Secondary Processes sections.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze data to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement best practices.
  

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree in Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering
• 7 years' experience in a metallurgical/smelter environment
• 2 years' experience in a management position
  
• Experience in HAZOP and Process Safety analysis.
• Valid Driver's License

Benefits:

• Salary: R700k - R750k
