A global leader in the recycled plastics and circular economy sector is looking for a dependable and experienced Human Resources Generalist with strong expertise in HR administration, onboarding, compliance, and performance review coordination to support and strengthen people operations across its fully remote, international team. With operations spanning North America, Africa, Europe, and Asia, the company plays a key role in sustainable supply chains by partnering with manufacturers to deliver high-quality recycled materials. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced, process-driven environments and can work independently across global teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and publish job descriptions in collaboration with hiring managers

  • Manage recruitment logistics, interview scheduling, and candidate communications

  • Oversee onboarding documentation, contract generation, and system setup

  • Track probation periods and ensure a smooth cultural onboarding experience

  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee records and documentation

  • Ensure HR processes comply with labor laws across multiple countries

  • Track and manage leave, overtime, and remote work requests

  • Coordinate performance management cycles including reviews and goal setting

  • Monitor employee engagement through surveys and feedback tools

  • Support internal communications and recognition initiatives

  • Coordinate training and development programs in partnership with team leads

  • Liaise with payroll providers and finance on employment changes and compensation updates

Requirements:

  • National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field

  • 3–5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a growing company or startup

  • Strong understanding of HR policies, labor law compliance, and payroll practices

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills

  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Proficiency with HR tools and systems such as Airtable or similar platforms
