Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Auto Electrician to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape. As an Auto Electrician, you will carry out installations, repairs, and maintenance to support safe operations, while testing and operating equipment to ensure all systems function effectively.

Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Auto Electrician to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape. As an Auto Electrician, you will carry out installations, repairs, and maintenance to support safe operations, while testing and operating equipment to ensure all systems function effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on underground mobile equipment and machinery.
- Install, maintain, and test electrical systems, including lighting, starters, alternators, and wiring harnesses.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements.
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and improve reliability.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure efficient troubleshooting and prompt resolution of electrical issues.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Auto Electrician Trade Test Certificate
- Minimum N2 Certificate in Engineering Studies
- 3 years' experience as an Auto Electrician in an Underground mining environment (Post Apprentice)
- 2 years' experience on underground mining equipment (CAT R1600/R1700 Loaders, CAT AD30 Trucks, Fermel Marveriks, Atlas Copco 282 Rocket Boomer, Atlas Copco 282s, Atlas Copco 235H Boltecs, Epiroc Boomer S2)
- Valid Driver's License
