Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician on behalf of our esteemed client in the manufacturing industry. As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of equipment. You will collaborate closely with clients to ensure their equipment is operating optimally and meets their specific requirements. Responsibilities:

• Fix breakdowns effectively with the least downtime.
• Perform maintenance as per supplier recommendations.
• Provide good communication and effective service to customers.
• Maintain a presentable and professional demeanor.
• Add value to the customer’s operation.
• Always use the latest documentation.
• Attend to internal and external breakdowns.
• Conduct internal and external preventative maintenance.
• Ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
• Uphold the company's image at all times when at customer premises.
• Provide specialist services to customers.
• Follow ISO procedures.
• Ensure effective, professional communication with customers.
• Provide comprehensive feedback to suppliers in case of product failures.
• Deliver high-quality services on customer equipment.
• Offer remote support for international customers.

Requirements:

• Formal Tertiary Education: Grade 12 in a technical school with Electrical/Electronics as a trade, qualified electrician, or studying towards an equivalent qualification.
• Languages:
• English: Read, write, and speak (required).
• Afrikaans: Read, write, and speak (optional).
• German: Speak (advantageous).
• Driver’s License: Code 8 (required).
• 2 years of automotive working experience.
• Knowledge of automated cells.
• Knowledge of PLCs.
• Familiarity with production lines and Cat cells.
• Excellent computer literacy.
• Maintain customer’s production facilities in good running order.
• Ensure effective, professional communication with customers.
• Provide comprehensive feedback to suppliers in case of product failures.
• Deliver high-quality services on customer equipment.
• Offer remote support for international customers.
