Description:
Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager with mining experience to join their team in the Northern Cape. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing mining projects and ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to company standards (3-Year Project).

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of mining projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Manage and supervise project teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure project integration and seamless operations.
• Prepare and present project reports and presentations to stakeholders.
  

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering/Mechanical Engineering.
• Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management.
• 5 years' experience in project management within the mining industry.
• 8 years' experience in Opencast Mining and Heavy Earthmoving Equipment.
• Competency A
• HIRAC Training (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control Training)
• Strata Control 2 Course.
