Description:
Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their mining company based in Gauteng. You will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, compliance, budgeting and team leadership to support effective financial management and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Manage financial reporting and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial performance monitoring.
• Manage cash flow, financial controls and financial risk within the organisation.
• Prepare financial reports, board packs and documentation for audits and governance requirements.
• Support cross-functional collaboration by providing financial insights to operational teams.
• Lead and develop the finance team while managing ad hoc financial projects and reporting requirements.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• BCom Degree in Finance or equivalent
• Pastel/SAGE and VIP Payroll/SAGE certification
• 10 years' experience in a Finance Role with 5 years' within the mining industry
• Proven experience in IFRS/GAAP financial reporting, cash management, budgeting and statutory compliance.
• Experience preparing board packs, financial statements, audits, and cross-functional finance support.
• Proven ability to lead and manage finance teams and handle ad hoc financial requirements.
