We are assisting a leading player in the FMCG sector who is looking for a talented professional to take the lead in managing engineering functions across its Coastal depot facilities.

In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing a robust planned preventative maintenance system, overseeing major breakdown repairs, and minimising regional R&M costs. You'll also ensure that all building facilities and utilities align with the highest standards in safety, health, risk management, and compliance with HACCP, ISO22000, ISO14000, and ISO18000 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a region-wide preventative maintenance system.

  • Ensure facilities and equipment meet all statutory, safety, and business requirements.

  • Manage the repair and maintenance of utilities, electrical systems, and plant equipment.

  • Drive asset optimisation and cost reduction per unit across the region.

  • Collaborate effectively across departments and communicate with clarity to all levels of staff.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge in mechanical, refrigeration, and electrical engineering systems.

  • Be available for flexible working hours, including occasional weekends.

Minimum Requirements:

  • GCC Factories certification (Non-negotiable)

  • 10+ years experience in a managerial role within Food production, preferably Poultry
  • Abattoir experience beneficial  
  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • In-depth technical understanding across mechanical, refrigeration, and electrical domains

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Willingness to work outside of traditional hours as operational needs dictate
