Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily plant operations including production planning, logistics coordination, and maintenance management.
Ensure legal compliance with EE, OSH, SHE, and BCE legislation.
Lead recruitment processes and manage employee relations, including IR matters.
Direct and support large, diverse operational teams across shifts.
Monitor stock levels, dispatches, vehicle routing, and plant upkeep.
Drive continuous improvement in production quality, efficiency, and safety.
Maintain control of plant assets, consumables, and reporting procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric plus a Management-related Degree or Diploma
Valid Code 8 Driver’s License
3 to 5 years’ experience in a management position
Strong financial, logistics, and production knowledge (non-negotiable)
Working knowledge of EE, OSH, SHE, and BCE legislation
Experience in recruitment and handling IR matters
Proven ability to manage and motivate large teams
