Our client, a well-established and fast-growing player in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a highly skilled and driven Operations Manager to lead and optimise their production and operational functions. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented professional to contribute to operational excellence, continuous improvement, and strategic growth within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily operations across production, maintenance, and engineering functions
- Drive operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles
- Develop and implement production plans to meet business targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines
- Oversee maintenance strategies to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability
- Manage and develop cross-functional teams, fostering a high-performance culture
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Monitor KPIs, analyse operational data, and implement corrective actions where required
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimisation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering (non-negotiable)
- Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in an operations or production management role within manufacturing
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Proven track record in improving operational performance and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Solid understanding of production planning, maintenance systems, and quality management
- Experience with data analysis tools and performance metrics
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
