Job Description

Are you an experienced and driven Sales Manager with a background in the industrial or mining sector? Our client, a leading name in the Wear Protection industry, is looking for a sales manager.

In this role, you’ll take the lead in driving strategic growth across industrial markets, managing key accounts, and developing a high-performing sales team. You’ll play a crucial role in expanding brand presence within heavy-duty sectors while aligning with the company’s vision and sales targets.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the industrial and mining sectors.

  • Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring long-term client relationships.

  • Lead, mentor, and support a results-oriented sales team.

  • Identify new business opportunities and expand into untapped industrial markets.

  • Collaborate with product development and marketing to ensure market alignment.

  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to stay ahead of industry shifts.

  • Prepare detailed sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of sales management experience within the industrial or mining sectors.

  • Strong understanding of PPE, workwear, or activewear tailored for heavy-duty environments.

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing market share.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles and long-term contracts.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

NB: Experience working with clients in the mining or industrial space is essential
