Hire Resolve's client is a leading company in the construction and glass manufacturing industry, currently seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join their dynamic team in Durban. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment used in glass cutting, shaping, and installation processes

• Assemble and align machines and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and schematics

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance of equipment

• Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues to reduce downtime and increase efficiency

• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively in a construction/manufacturing environment

• Collaborate with other trades and departments to ensure smooth production flow

Requirements

• Red Seal Millwright Certification or equivalent qualification

• 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally within the construction or glass manufacturing industry

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Comfortable working at heights and in physically demanding conditions

• Familiarity with CNC glass cutting machines and automated systems is an asset
