Key Responsibilities
As the Factory Manager, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the production facility, ensuring that output targets are met with maximum efficiency. Your core duties will include:
Operational Oversight: Directing all production activities, from raw material handling to final dispatch, to ensure seamless workflow.
Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing production schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
Quality Control: Maintaining rigorous quality standards to ensure all products meet client specifications and industry regulations.
Team Leadership: Managing a diverse workforce, fostering a culture of high performance, and overseeing staff training and development.
Safety & Compliance: Ensuring the facility remains in full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
Continuous Improvement: Identifying bottlenecks and implementing Lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve margins.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess a blend of technical expertise and strong leadership capabilities:
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
Experience: A minimum of 5–10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a senior management capacity (preferably within the packaging industry).
Technical Skills: Deep understanding of manufacturing machinery, production planning software, and ISO quality standards.
Leadership: Proven track record of managing large teams and driving operational excellence.
Attributes: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a "hands-on" approach to floor management.
