Job Title: Project & Engineering Manager

Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project & Engineering Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects within our client's organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The Project & Engineering Manager will also be responsible for coordinating with other departments to ensure the successful implementation of projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, schedule, and execute engineering projects from start to finish.
  • Manage and oversee a team of engineers, providing leadership and guidance as needed.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets and timelines to ensure successful completion.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
  • Implement and maintain project management best practices to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project status and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and other project partners.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Engineering Manager in a technical or engineering environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the engineering field.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in the manufacturing or construction industry is a plus.
