A well-established and reputable consulting firm specialising in cost management and construction project services, is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team based in Cape Town. The ideal candidate would have around 3 years of experience, but all applicants will be considered. Responsibilities
Conduct cost planning and control throughout project life cycles
Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender documentation
Perform valuations and cost reporting on projects
Provide advice on contractual claims and procurement strategies
Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments
Manage project finances and budgets
Requirements
BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying
Ideally 3 years of relevant experience (graduates and junior candidates also welcome)
Proficiency in cost estimating software and MS Office Suite
Strong numerical and analytical skills
