Job Description

A well-established and reputable consulting firm specialising in cost management and construction project services, is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team based in Cape Town. The ideal candidate would have around 3 years of experience, but all applicants will be considered. Responsibilities

  • Conduct cost planning and control throughout project life cycles

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender documentation

  • Perform valuations and cost reporting on projects

  • Provide advice on contractual claims and procurement strategies

  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards

  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments

  • Manage project finances and budgets


Requirements

  • BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying

  • Ideally 3 years of relevant experience (graduates and junior candidates also welcome)

  • Proficiency in cost estimating software and MS Office Suite

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
