We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer with experience in the manufacturing, mining, or steel industry. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in design, development, and testing of mechanical systems, with expertise in mechanical design, project support, and technical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components
• Perform technical calculations and analyses to ensure safe and efficient designs
• Attend project meetings and contribute to planning and execution
• Conduct studies, simulations, and other technical support tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
• Follow all health, safety, and company protocols
• Carry out additional duties as assigned within the company’s scope

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng or equivalent)
• Minimum 4 years post-graduation experience in manufacturing, steel, or mining environments
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles
• Proficient in SolidWorks, CAD, and FEA (Finite Element Analysis)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Experience with tender processes, projects, and quotations
