A leading player in the resource recovery and waste management industry is seeking a dynamic Branch Manager to oversee operations at one of their key facilities.

This role requires a hands-on professional who can balance operational excellence with commercial growth, ensuring the branch meets its production targets while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring optimal productivity and resource allocation.

  • Financial Management: Oversee the branch’s budget, manage costs, and drive profitability through effective procurement and sales strategies.

  • Staff Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure the site operates in full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and industry-specific legislation.

  • Logistics & Supply Chain: Coordinate the movement of materials, ensuring efficient intake and dispatch processes to meet client demands.

  • Business Development: Maintain and grow relationships with local suppliers and industrial partners to ensure a steady pipeline of materials.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years in a management role within the industrial, manufacturing, or recycling sectors.

  • Education: A degree or diploma in Business Management, Operations, or Engineering is highly preferred.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial machinery, logistics, and scrap metal/Paper or waste processing operations.

  • Skills: Proven ability to manage P&L, excellent negotiation skills, and a "safety-first" mindset.

  • NB: Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to work in an industrial site environment.
