A leading Renewable Energy / B2B Solar Solutions company is looking for a motivated Junior Sales Representative with a strong interest in sustainable energy and commercial sales to join their team in Midrand. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven Junior Sales Representative to drive growth by identifying potential clients, conducting site-specific presentations, recommending technical solar solutions, and closing deals. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research to identify high-potential business prospects and generate a consistent pipeline of new sales opportunities.
- Oversee the entire sales journey, from initial cold calling and first contact to final negotiation and closing the deal.
- Deliver professional, persuasive presentations and proposals that showcase tailored solar solutions based on specific client needs and energy requirements.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to help clients navigate the transition to renewable energy.
- Facilitate and manage the negotiation of terms and pricing to ensure mutually beneficial agreements and achieve sales targets.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure seamless implementation and maintain high levels of client satisfaction after the sale.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide regular feedback on market trends and progress against KPIs.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in a sales-driven environment, preferably within the B2B or technical solutions sector.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for client visits and site assessments.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with business owners and decision-makers.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on achieving and exceeding monthly targets.
- High level of self-motivation, resilience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced market.
- Genuine interest in or technical understanding of renewable energy, specifically solar PV systems.
- Proficiency in managing sales pipelines and using CRM software to track activity and performance.
