The Role

As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial team with cost management and project delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the early stages of their career who is eager to develop professionally and gain hands-on experience across all aspects of quantity surveying.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation

• Support with cost planning and cost control throughout project lifecycles

• Conduct site measurements and assist with valuations

• Help manage subcontractor payments and track variations

• Maintain accurate records of contracts and project progress

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders

• Support senior quantity surveyors with reporting and procurement tasks

Requirements

• A degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field

• Some experience or internship in a QS or construction role (preferred but not essential)

• Strong numerical and analytical skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

• Good communication and teamwork abilities

• Willingness to learn and take initiative
