A leading freight and logistics company is seeking a Senior Multimodal Estimator to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate import and export freight estimates across air, sea, break bulk, and project cargo shipments. The role requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements
- 5–6 years experience in freight estimating (import & export)
- Strong knowledge of air and sea freight operations
- Experience in break bulk and project cargo estimating
- Tender and quotation experience within the freight industry
- Strong understanding of Incoterms (import & export)
- Advanced Excel proficiency (essential)
- Solid understanding of end-to-end freight processes
- Relevant logistics / supply chain qualification advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit accurate freight estimates for air, sea, and multimodal shipments
- Handle break bulk and project cargo costing and pricing
- Respond to tender and client RFQ requirements
- Apply correct Incoterms in all pricing and quotations
- Perform freight-related calculations and cost analysis
- Maintain accurate records of quotations and pricing structures
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely submissions
- Ensure compliance with operational and pricing requirements
