Hire Resolve's client is seeking an experienced Branch/Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their logistics branch in the Eastern Cape region. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a background in logistics and supply chain management. The Branch/Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the branch’s operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability, and leading a team of employees to deliver outstanding service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the branch’s operations, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
• Monitor key performance indicators and analyze data to identify areas for improvement
• Manage a team of employees, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Communicate regularly with headquarters and other branch managers to coordinate operations and share best practices
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
• Participate in budgeting and financial planning activities for the branch
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to ensure the branch remains competitive

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics operations in a management role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management software
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in the logistics industry
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
