Position: Fitter - Mining
Location: Northern Cape
Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our mining operations in the Northern Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing heavy machinery and equipment in a mining environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine maintenance on mining equipment such as crushers, conveyors, and pumps
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues on machinery
- Performing repairs and replacements on faulty parts
- Conducting inspections to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely
- Collaborating with other team members to complete maintenance tasks in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Trade certificate as a Fitter or relevant certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Fitter in the mining industry
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment
