Job Description

An experienced Contracts Manager is required to lead the management and execution of electrical engineering and infrastructure projects in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The successful candidate will oversee planning, cost control, quality, legal compliance, and client liaison to ensure projects are delivered safely on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage full contract lifecycle including planning, scheduling, and logistics.
  • Oversee cost control, forecasting, claims, and invoicing.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, OHS Act, FIDIC/NEC contracts.
  • Lead project teams and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Drive quality assurance and safe project execution.

Requirements: 

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent).
  • 10+ years’ experience in Electrical & Instrumentation industry.
  • Minimum 5 years as Site Manager or Contracts Manager.
  • Strong project management and financial acumen.
  • Proficient in MS Project / Primavera P6 and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
