A leading electronics manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Electronic Technician with strong experience in PCB fault finding, electronic circuit repairs, and component-level troubleshooting to join their production team in Gauteng. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who thrives in a dynamic production environment and has a keen eye for detail when working with sensitive electronic components. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the repair and assembly of complex electronic systems, ensuring quality and functionality through rigorous testing procedures. Experience with RF and GSM equipment will be a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Fault find and repair electronic circuits and PCBs up to component level

  • Read and interpret schematic diagrams and PCB documents

  • Operate and interpret results from test equipment including multimeters and oscilloscopes

  • Perform electronic assembly and testing

  • Contribute to fast-moving production processes involving PCBs

  • Work efficiently to meet targets and deadlines

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

  • N6, National Diploma, or B Tech in Electronics

  • Hands-on experience in component-level electronic repairs

  • Strong background in schematic reading and PCB testing

  • Knowledge of RF and GSM equipment (advantageous)

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
