We are assisting our client in a search for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join a well-established team in the manufacturing and construction equipment industry. This role offers exposure to a wide range of machinery and equipment, with a strong focus on diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on diesel-powered equipment and machinery

• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance

• Maintain accurate service records and complete job cards in line with company standards

• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to troubleshoot recurring faults

• Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance standards at all times

Requirements:

• Qualified Diesel Mechanic with a relevant trade certificate

• Proven experience working on construction or compact equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders, dumpers)

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A valid driver’s license
