Hire Resolve's client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Technical Support Supervisor to join their dynamic team based in Gauteng. This is an exciting opportunity for a tech-savvy professional with strong leadership abilities and a passion for delivering top-tier customer support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of technical support specialists, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
Oversee daily support operations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of advanced technical issues.
Serve as an escalation point for complex technical problems, providing hands-on support when necessary.
Monitor support metrics and implement improvements to optimize team performance and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with product development, engineering, and QA teams to resolve recurring issues and enhance service quality.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
Train staff on new systems, software updates, and best practices.
Maintain a customer-first mindset and uphold SLA compliance.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical support, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
Strong technical background with knowledge of networking, hardware, software troubleshooting, and IT systems.
Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven ability to lead and motivate technical teams.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, ServiceNow) is an advantage.
