Hire Resolve's client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Technical Support Supervisor to join their dynamic team based in Gauteng. This is an exciting opportunity for a tech-savvy professional with strong leadership abilities and a passion for delivering top-tier customer support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of technical support specialists, ensuring high performance and continuous development.

  • Oversee daily support operations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of advanced technical issues.

  • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical problems, providing hands-on support when necessary.

  • Monitor support metrics and implement improvements to optimize team performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with product development, engineering, and QA teams to resolve recurring issues and enhance service quality.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.

  • Train staff on new systems, software updates, and best practices.

  • Maintain a customer-first mindset and uphold SLA compliance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical support, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.

  • Strong technical background with knowledge of networking, hardware, software troubleshooting, and IT systems.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate technical teams.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, ServiceNow) is an advantage.
