Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman to oversee the electrical maintenance and operations at our clients sugar processing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and maintenance, as well as the ability to lead a team of electricians to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of electricians and other electrical staff
- Plan and schedule maintenance and repair work on electrical systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
- Procure materials and equipment needed for electrical projects
- Train and mentor junior staff members
- Monitor and maintain inventory of electrical supplies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all electrical work performed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical maintenance and operations
- Trade Tested Electrician
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering advantageous
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols
- Electrical license/certification preferred
