Hire Resolve's Client is seeking to hire a Family Office Specialist to join their team in Pretoria. The Family Office Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive family office strategy aimed at enhancing client value and driving revenue growth. This role acts as a critical link between ultra-high-net-worth clients, financial advisors, structuring firms, and tax specialists. The incumbent is expected to interpret and present complex structures and tax solutions in a clear and actionable manner to ensure effective implementation of wealth management strategies for families.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy Implementation and Management

  • Execute the family office strategy as set by the private client division.
  • Continuously monitor and refine implementation processes to align with strategic goals.
  • Establish and maintain operational procedures that enhance service delivery.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all family office matters, delivering customised, high-quality service.
  • Communicate complex financial and structural solutions in a simplified, actionable format.

3. Cross-functional Coordination

  • Act as a liaison between financial advisors, structuring firms, and tax professionals.
  • Ensure consistent and effective communication across all stakeholders.
  • Promote the integration of multidisciplinary solutions for holistic client outcomes.

4. Revenue Growth

  • Identify opportunities for deepening client engagement and expanding service offerings.
  • Use client insights and relationships to cross-sell relevant financial services.

5. Structure Visualization and Asset Allocation

  • Leverage advanced Excel skills to model and visualise global wealth structures.
  • Support the design and implementation of bespoke asset allocation strategies.
  • Ensure long-term financial alignment of clients’ wealth structures with their goals.

Qualifications and Experience

Education:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • CFA or CA designation is a significant advantage.

Experience:

  • At least 10 years of experience in the financial services sector, specifically dealing with ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  • Exposure to complex financial and tax structuring is beneficial.

Competencies and Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modelling and structure visualisation.
  • Solid understanding of investment strategies tailored to high-net-worth families.
  • Capability to convey complex tax and financial concepts in an accessible manner.
