Hire Resolve's Client is seeking to hire a Family Office Specialist to join their team in Pretoria. The Family Office Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive family office strategy aimed at enhancing client value and driving revenue growth. This role acts as a critical link between ultra-high-net-worth clients, financial advisors, structuring firms, and tax specialists. The incumbent is expected to interpret and present complex structures and tax solutions in a clear and actionable manner to ensure effective implementation of wealth management strategies for families.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy Implementation and Management
- Execute the family office strategy as set by the private client division.
- Continuously monitor and refine implementation processes to align with strategic goals.
- Establish and maintain operational procedures that enhance service delivery.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build and sustain strong relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.
- Serve as the primary contact for all family office matters, delivering customised, high-quality service.
- Communicate complex financial and structural solutions in a simplified, actionable format.
3. Cross-functional Coordination
- Act as a liaison between financial advisors, structuring firms, and tax professionals.
- Ensure consistent and effective communication across all stakeholders.
- Promote the integration of multidisciplinary solutions for holistic client outcomes.
4. Revenue Growth
- Identify opportunities for deepening client engagement and expanding service offerings.
- Use client insights and relationships to cross-sell relevant financial services.
5. Structure Visualization and Asset Allocation
- Leverage advanced Excel skills to model and visualise global wealth structures.
- Support the design and implementation of bespoke asset allocation strategies.
- Ensure long-term financial alignment of clients’ wealth structures with their goals.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
- Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- CFA or CA designation is a significant advantage.
Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience in the financial services sector, specifically dealing with ultra-high-net-worth clients.
- Exposure to complex financial and tax structuring is beneficial.
Competencies and Skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modelling and structure visualisation.
- Solid understanding of investment strategies tailored to high-net-worth families.
- Capability to convey complex tax and financial concepts in an accessible manner.
